Many vehicle manufacturers use modules that are a "married" one-time write to the vehicle network. This technology is to improve theft/tampering issues. The problem is not being able to program used or rebuilt modules with OEM tooling/techniques.
A lot of vehicle manufacturers have gone towards using modules that are a one-time write. This is to try and curb theft issues. The downfall is not being able to program used or rebuilt modules with OE tooling.
Generally speaking, the best repair is always a new module from the OEM. After COVID, supply chain issues have caused many modules to be on backorder or unavailable. Sometimes a module may become obsolete from the OE manufacturer leaving you nowhere to turn. Many new modules are very expensive, and offering a cheaper alternative can be an attractive alternative to your customers. Module cloning can help your business by offering services even the dealer cannot perform.
Let us do that for you! Just email us at tomi@sjautosolutions.com. All we need is a picture of your module and the vehicle identification number (VIN).
Not a problem. Feel free to email us at tomi@sjautosolutions.com for pricing and current lead time.
